Shraoshee is from Tezpur, Assam. She pursued B.Sc. from Cotton University and M.Sc. from Tezpur University. She has qualified GATE 2021 and joined Molecular Magnetism Lab in August 2021. She received the prestigious PMRF fellowship in 2022.

Currently, she is working on radical bridged lanthanide-based single-molecule magnets. Her favourite pastime is singing and playing different musical instruments.
