Pradip is from Medinipur, West Bengal. He has completed his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Hons.) from Midnapore College (under Vidyasagar University) and M.Sc. degree in Chemical Sciences from University of Hyderabad. After qualifying UGC-JRF, he joined Molecular Magnetism Lab in 2018.

His research interest is to develop high-temperature SMMs using redox-active ligand. Besides research, he likes to read books and listen to songs.
